WriteInvite
Short Story Competitions
WriteInvite is a Portsmouth based short story writing competition who wanted to take their successful short-story competition format to a new audience. FLUID7 created an online version of their competition format which now allows WriteInvite to run weekly writing competitions that are open to anyone across the world and is helping to attract some fresh talent.

Our Work
This bespoke web development allows members to pay to enter the weekly competitions, reveals the subject of the competition and ensures all participants write their entries within a 20 minute window. Once all the entries have been collated the site informs all players of the short listed entries and allows players to vote on who they want to win. It then compiles the results and notifies everyone of the winning entry. The administrators are able to create new competitions and view past competitions, and get live stats during a competition as to how many people have entered etc.
The site has been received well and new developments are constantly in progress that have seen the introduction of a player league table and competition text alerts and that will see the development of a small writers community, where members can post their profiles, link to other written works and showcase the entries written during WriteInvite competitions.

What the client says
I have found FLUID7 professional, friendly and focussed. I was particularly impressed with the way they empathised with and applied themselves to my own somewhat unusual project. They added thirty per cent to the initial vision and continue to impress!
